Dr. Robinson is a caring and compassionate physician born in Auburn, Alabama. After completion of an interventional pain fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and obtaining Board Certification in Pain Medicine, he returned to the Auburn-Opelika area in 2008 to establish Auburn Pain Specialists. Auburn Pain Specialists is East Alabama’s first comprehensive pain medicine speciality practice devoted solely to the most current standards of diagnosis and treatment of both acute and chronic pain related to the spine and other conditions. With Dr. Robinson’s up-to-date training, and commitment to excellence, many more options are now available for resolving pain, even for people who think – or have been told – that ” nothing else can be done.”
Dr. Robinson has been the recipient of the Lewis D. Anderson Orthopedic Award, and the William F. Cope, III Memorial Scholarship Award. His experience includes being the managing member and interventional pain physician for Auburn Pain Specialists, LLC, the Director of Anesthesia and Pain Medicine for a hospital within the Alabama CHS health system, and volunteer faculty and guest lecturer for many advanced interventional pain therapy techniques for future fellowship-trained pain physicians.
Dr. Robinson and his wife of 27 years, Stacy, have three daughters, the oldest of whom has recently married and is currently a student at Auburn University in the master’s program. His interests include family, golf, hunting, fishing and Auburn athletics.
